SSA Computer Training for SC/ST students, District: Arwal is an Bihar Government programme which Coordinated by Reshma Gramin VIkash Sangh (Director: Krishna Prasad Gupta), aimed at the universalization of elementary computer education "in a time bound manner", The Constitution of Bihar making free and compulsory education to children of State Govt. School for class 6, 7 & 8 SC/ST students (estimated to be 425 SC /ST students) a fundamental right.
The programme was pioneered by Reshma Gramin Vikas Sangh is being implemented in partnership with State Governments to cover the Middle School, Kurtha. The programme seeks to open those habitations which do not have schooling Computer facilities and strengthen existing school infrastructure through provision of additional class rooms. We provided with additional teachers, while the capacity of existing teachers is being strengthened by extensive training, grants for developing teaching-learning materials and strengthening of the academic support structure at a cluster, block and district level. RGVS has a special focus on girl's education and children with special needs. RGVS also seeks to provide personal development to bridge the digital divide.
