Education of girls has been high on the national agenda since Independence. Special commissions and committees were set up from time to time assess the progress of girls education and propose suitable interventions to promote their participation in education. Several strategies were adopted to promote education of girls as an integral part of the planned socio-economic development of the country. A major conceptual shift is noticed in the last decade in the approach to the education of girls and women. Education of girls is increasingly being seen as a basic human right and a crucial input for national development.
Hence, the society is organizing the hostel of Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidhyalaya at Vansi Block under Arwal district with the support of Bihar Education Project, Arwal under Sarv Shiksha Abhiyan.
The society appointed well trained, sympathetic and sincere staff committed to establish parent like relationship with children. A ‘House Mother’ is functional in-charge of the ‘Full Care School’ and she asks to live within the premises. The services of certain external personnel like 2 Doctors, 2 Counsellor etc. empanelled on contract basis.
